Abstract

Globalization is a complex phenomenon whose nature and consequences demand thorough study. It is a multidimensional process encompassing economic, political, social, and technological integration at the global level. As one of the most significant forces shaping the modern world, globalization exerts a profound influence on national economic development. Its effects are particularly evident in small and transitional economies, such as Georgia. In Georgia’s case, globalization has generated both new opportunities and considerable challenges. This paper therefore examines the impact of globalization on the Georgian economy, focusing on trade, foreign direct investment, tourism, and technological advancement.
